Danube & Delta
Danube is the secound largest river in Europe, the river running through the largest number of countries in the world. Originating in Germany, the Danube is passing Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine before draining into the Black Sea. Before draining in the Black Sea it forms the Danube Delta, areal diamond of the nature. The Danube Delta is one of the largest river deltas in Europe, and is particularly well preserved. The majority of the Danube Delta is located in Romania. With the lagoons of Razim-Sinoe, located south of the main delta, The Razim–Sinoe lagoon complex together with Danube Delta are listed in the World Heritage Site.
Transylvania
In the middle of Romania, with huge history and density of Unesco sites, Transylvania is famous for its old towns with origins in Middle Age, as Brasov, Sighisoara or Sibiu. Fortified churches, peasants’ fortresses or Saxon villages like Viscri, Rupea or Hoghiz or an impressive castle as Bran or Corvin’s have the power to be remembered for lifetime.
