Overview
We will take you in a journey where you will experience the Romanian Favourite Street food, traditional pastries, ethnic wine and the best modern interpretation of traditional Romanian cuisine.
At the Obor market we will find the most common street food in Romania – Mici (like a sausage but without the skin and is made typically from lamb or a mixture of beef and lamb or pork and beef).
Here you can find also good traditional Romanian pastries: “Kurtos Kalacs” from Transylvania, “gogosi” fruits and vegetable sold directly by the producers.
We stop after at Ethic Wine where people drink wine around barrels in front of the wine bar, out on the street. It’s a form of get-together for the locals.
Last stop is at the restaurant owned by Chef Radu Ionescu, that works very hard to bring fresh concepts to the table. Almost everywhere on the menu, there are items rooted in his upbringing or recollections, revisited with a modern twist.
